Community Design and Facilities
Mission Park contains three mid-rise buildings and one high-rise apartment
tower as well as 147 town houses that
thread through the system of interior streets. The apartment buildings
contain their own controlled lobby entrances plus offer a variety of views that include the parks system, the
Boston skyline and, from the highest floors, the ocean. Beneath part of the site is a
three-level garage. In addition, there is surface parking, and each of the town houses has one reserved off-street
space just outside its front door. Community and recreational facilities include:
- A centrally located community building with its own kitchen, game and community
rooms, plus management offices
- Swimming pool and wading pool
- Basketball courts
- Computer Learning Center
- Library
- Daycare
- After-School Programs
